**NOTE**This sheet of stamps is damaged (burned top left corner). Originally in the collection of the Roma Musei Vaticani, it was auctioned after the great Rome fire of 1843. The stamps depict relics from the Artozoic, an evolutionary epoch on Stamp World prior to the postage stamp becoming the highest form of life. I guess some Pope way back when must have made a similar journey to Stamp World as I did in 198somethingorother (see another of my autobiographical masterpieces, Chew Day on Stamp World).
