2016 was a magnificent collaborative year. I made art with many of my mailart pals from the US and around the world. The pieces took the form of very large posters, commemorating one-night only, fictional events. The events took place in ballrooms, discos, and lounges in reference to Ray Johnson's idea of mailart as 'correspondancing.' I liked calling them 'fake' events until we got a president who labeled everything 'fake news.' At the end of the year I began making sheets of stamps about Trump, and sent them to him, though I doubt he ever saw any of them.
