Le Extinction des Arts ~ 1983
In 1983 I put together a show at the Whatcom Museum in Bellingham, WA, called

Le Extinction des Arts.

On Stamp World the highest form of life is the postage stamp, but long before stamps evolved there was the Artozoic Ocean teaming with primitive life forms--paint brushes, carnivorous scissors, palettes, and paint tube worms! These creatures eventually became extinct, but left wonderful fossils for us to muse over.

To the right is a diagram of the 'evolutionary tree of life' on Stamp World.
